Research Progress on Local Treatment of Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss with Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine
Abstract:Sudden sensorineural hearing loss is a common emergency in the department of otolaryngology. The etiology is still unclear, and treatments such as improving inner ear microcirculation, antiviral therapy, relieving labyrinth edema, and hyperbaric oxygen are commonly used, but the clinical efficacy is often unsatisfactory, and some treatments have limitations. More and more patients are adopting local treatment, which allows drugs to act directly on the inner ear, increasing the local drug concentration in the inner ear and enhancing the therapeutic effect, while reducing systemic adverse reactions. This article summarizes the research progress on the local treatment of sudden sensorineural hearing loss with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, providing a reference for clinical treatment.
