Application of Feishu Multidimensional Table Automation Process in the Management of Expiry Dates of Emergency Medicines and Supplies

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of Feishu multidimensional table automation process in the management of expiry dates of emergency medicines and supplies. Methods Data on the management of emergency medicines and supplies in 15 wards, including the oncology and geriatric disease ward, department of cardiovascular medicine, and department of respiratory medicine, were collected from Jinan Beicheng Hospital. The emergency medicines and supplies managed using the conventional mode from September to November 2023 were set as the control group, while those managed using the Feishu multidimensional table automation process from December 2023 to February 2024 were set as the observation group. At the same time, 50 nursing staff involved in the management of emergency medicines and supplies during the same period were selected as the study subjects. The time required for inventory of emergency medicines and supplies, the management situation of emergency medicines and supplies, and the satisfaction of nurses before and after the application were compared. Results The time required for inventory of emergency medicines and supplies in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group (t=-12.183, P<0.001; t=-7.358, P<0.001). The number of cases with expired, near-expiration but not replaced, and near-expiration but not labeled emergency medicines and supplies was less in the observation group than in the control group (x2=33.617, P<0.001; x2=20.149, P<0.001; x2=38.453, P<0.001). After the application, the satisfaction of nurses with the management of emergency medicines and supplies was higher than before (t=12.221, P<0.001). Conclusion Applying the Feishu multidimensional table automation process for the management of expiry dates of emergency medicines and supplies can improve the efficiency of inventory and achieve precise management of emergency medicines and supplies.
