摘要：Pneumopericardium refers to the presence of air inside the pericardial cavity,which is a ra-re entity that has been reported clinically.Tol-edo,et al.[1]classified the causes of pneumopericardium into four categories:iatrogenic,pericarditis,fistula forma-tion between the pericardium and adjacent hollow orga-ns,and trauma.Until now,there have been only a limited number of reports in the literature[2-4]regarding pneu-mopericardium caused by the need for therapeutic peri-cardiocentesis due to pericardial effusion.
