摘要：The landscape of liver disease management continues to evolve,with notable advancements in non-invasive diagnostics,understand-ing of perioperative risk,new therapies for cirrhotic complications,metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease(MASLD),and alcohol-associated liver disease(ALD),as well as screening for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and the management of special populations such as mothers with hepatitis B.In this Special Issue of Gastroenterology Report,we have compiled a collection of review articles that discuss practical approaches to managing common liver diseases,including HCC screening,non-invasive assessment of fibro-sis,multifaceted approaches to perioperative care and cirrhotic com-plications,and postpartum hepatitis flare in mothers with hepatitis B.Additionally,this issue provides concise reviews on the immune mechanisms in MASLD,highlighting critical findings and paving the way for future research directions.
