摘要：The lumbar degenerative disease is the primary etiology of chronic low back pain and radicular pain,which significantly impairs patients'daily work and quality of life,imposing a substantial socioeconomic burden on the healthcare system.The degeneration of the lumbosacral multifidus muscle plays a pivotal role in the pathogenesis and progression of lumbar degenerative diseases.Therefore,an in-depth investigation of the correlation between degeneration of the lumbosacral multifidus muscle and the lumbar degenerative disease is of immense significance in enhancing clinical comprehension of lumbar degenerative diseases,refining treatment methodologies,and facilitating patient rehabilitation.This article will focus on the normal anatomical function of the lumbosacral multifidus muscle and evaluation techniques and indicators of muscle degeneration,and summarize the latest research progress on the correlation between the lumbosacral multifidus muscle and lumbar degenerative diseases.
